Product Return Policy

 

Effective: February 1, 2007

 

For all returns to Programming Methods of Florida, Inc. (PMF), you must obtain a Return Authorization number from our Customer Service department by using our RA Form prior to shipping the product.

 

The following information is needed to issue a Return Authorization:

  • Company Name
  • Customer Account Number
  • Invoice/Order Number
  • PMF Item Number
  • Reason for Return
  • Serial Number

 

DOA (Within 20 Days):  The product must be returned to PMF within 20 days of purchase.  PMF or the product Manufacturer will replace the product or repair the product (PMF/Manufacturer discretion) within 6 weeks of receipt.  Certain manufacturers require PMF to return Defective and DOA product to them directly this can increase processing and replacement time.  PMF shall not be held liable to in the event of product shortages, manufacturer delays, or similar occurrences which are out of the control of PMF and prevent PMF from replacing a defective or DOA product within 6 weeks of receipt of said defective or DOA unit.  Additionally products determined to be damaged by the purchaser shall not be covered under this guarantee and shall be returned to purchaser.

 

Unopened Non-Defective Return  (Within 20 Days):

The product must be returned to PMF within 20 days of purchase and meet all of the following requirements: (1) PMF will accept Unopened Non-Defective product for return at its sole discretion, (2) The product must not be a designated custom configured product (designated on invoice/quote), (3) Product must be in an unopened container (the outer seal/shrink wrap must be unbroken), (4) The product must be in resalable condition (PMF discretion), (5) The product manufacturer must allow for product return (certain manufacturers require PMF to refuse return of their product if the product is not DOA or Defective), (6) The product is not a service or service agreement, (7) The product is not an End of Live product (designated by the Manufacturer).

 

Shipping Guidelines

For PMF to process your return in a timely manner, please review the information and follow the procedures outlined below:

  • Use the original manufacturers' boxes and packaging
  • Package all returns to prevent damage in transit
  • Use shipping labels on cartons being returned
  • All returns must have an RA number printed on the return shipping label
  • Do not write addresses or RA numbers on the outside of the manufacturers’ boxes. Products must be in resalable condition to receive credit
  • All returns must be complete including all components, accessories, cables, software and manuals in the original shipment
  • All returns must be received by PMF within 20 days from the date the RA number is issued. RA numbers are only valid for 20 days.
  • Returns must be shipped freight pre-paid
